Stepping Stones

This photoshoot is called “Stepping Stones,” and is dedicated to me and my beautiful friend Jasmine Lyck’s personal and creative growth. My photography has come a long way since high school and this particular photo shoot is an example of that. I’ve known Jasmine since the eighth grade and it is her confidence that I aspire to have, and I hope that one day young people will look up to her. Her mind is filled with stunning and extravagant ideas. I know every photo concept we tackle together will only get better and better. Honestly, it is an honour to be able to fulfill someone’s vision and make it a reality for them.

Our creative process usually starts with Jasmine texting me, “Hey I got this idea, so we need to meet up and do this,” and we always end up being proud of the results. This is because no matter what we do, we see that we are both growing and becoming stronger as artists while still having fun. If it wasn’t for Jasmine, I think I would have been on an artist block for over two years now and for that, I am very thankful for her.
