  • Isa Magazine is based in Toronto, Canada but accepts work from all over the world (yes, really — anywhere).

  • We focus on the stories of Black, Indigenous, People of Colour (BIPOC) youth, women, genderqueer and non-binary folks, but are inclusive to all of the LGBTQ+ community.

If you’d like to submit a specific piece, see our contribute page.

Note: You do not have to be a regular contributor to submit.

  • As we are starting out, we are entirely volunteer powered and are a labour of love, and self-funded by our Founding Editor alone.

Unfortunately, no, we do not offer monetary compensation at this time. However, of course, as we grow and continue in this journey, our main priority is to eventually compensate our deserving and talented contributors.

Update: We recently opened a donation link to our Paypal to mark our one year as an online publication. If funds are sufficient, we will be able to commission! Consider donating to keep us going. Thank you!
