Ann Villegas, Founding Editor
Ann Villegas (she/her) is a writer, communications specialist, and media undergraduate based in Toronto, Ontario. She is also the Founding Editor of Isa Magazine.
She majored in Public Relations and is now working full-time in corporate communications. Her words have appeared online and in print, in places such as mimp, Maggie, Goodness Magazine, and TOP Magazine.
As a first-generation Filipina-Canadian, she strives to cultivate a safe and open environment for BIPOC youth and young women to creatively express themselves through art and shared voices. You’ll either catch her with a good book, browsing the news, or sipping on a matcha tea latte.
Mariah Soriano, Copy Editor
Mariah Soriano (she/her) is a proud writer and media creative based in Melbourne, Australia. By day, Mariah works as a communications officer in the non-profit sector and is the Copy Editor for Isa Magazine.
Even when the workday is over, her inspiration to create never takes a day off. Whether it's sharing her personal thoughts on her blog, lovemariah, or simply taking an artsy photo of her breakfast for an Instagram story—Mariah puts 100% of her heart and soul into bringing her creativity to life.
Known for always having something to say, Mariah hopes to use her voice to amplify others' and give everyone the opportunity to have their time to shine. She loves to build connections with others and the only things you need to capture her heart are romantic comedies, white wine, and sprinkled cupcakes.
