Instead I Became Ceremony

This is "Instead I became ceremony" featuring Kyle Young Pine, a Kainai Blackfoot Fancy Dancer. Kyle expressed his desire to connect to community through fancy dancing at Pow Wows, however, due to the COVID restrictions during the pandemic in the spring of 2020, he was unable to. I met with Kyle at the Bow River with his family and he fancy danced in traditional Regalia, a symbolic prayer for healing for himself, nature, and humanity, instead he became ceremony.
